Important information for Newcastle United season ticket holders about the Magpie Mover.

Story added: Tuesday 19 August 2008
Newcastle United season ticket holders are today being advised that applications for Magpie Mover tickets will be held up due to the delay in posting out the new season tickets.

Network Ticketing Ltd, who issues the Magpie Mover, will be working flat out this week to turn around as many applications as possible, but fans are advised that some may not receive their Magpie Mover in time for Saturday’s game.

Season ticket holders who have yet to receive their applications forms can download the Magpie Mover form from the Network Ticketing Ltd website, www.networkticketing.com or by obtaining a form from any Travelshop.

For this Saturday’s home match against Bolton, August 23, season ticket holders are reminded they will not be able to use their season tickets in the place of a valid Magpie Mover.

Chairman of Network Ticketing Ltd, John Conroy, said: “I apologise that we may not be able to get all the Magpie Movers out in time for this Saturday’s first home game of the season at St James’ Park.

“This is due to a delay in the posting out of the season tickets. Our staff are working flat out to turn around as many Magpie Mover applications as they can before Saturday and in time for the second home game of the season against Hull on September 13.”

The Magpie Mover is available to all Newcastle United season ticket holders for £13 per season. It offers unlimited travel on public transport three hours before and three hours after every United home game at St James’ Park.
