Buy your return adult rail fare from ticket machines or offices at Sunderland or Newcastle Central stations. The return fare is £4 before 9.00am weekdays / £3.20 at any other time. The ticket is also valid on Metro services between Sunderland and Newcastle Central station. Return fares are also available for journeys to Dunston, MetroCentre and Blaydon. You can buy these on-board the train at unstaffed stations.
