If you're 16 and under 19 on 1 September 07 and in full-time further education, you can apply for a Teen Travel ID card, which you can then show to be entitled to a Teen Travelticket. Teen Traveltickets are valid on most buses, Metro, the Sunderland-Blaydon rail line and the Shields Ferry. Students at FE colleges should take their enrolment or college ID card, plus a passport-sized photo to any Nexus TravelShop to get their Teen Travel ID card and Teen Travelticket. Students who are at school should ask there for an application form. Once you've received your Teen Travel ID card take it, along with a passport-sized photo, to any TravelShop to buy your Teen Travelticket.
