New accounting regulations for 2005/06 introduce new requirements for local government bodies to produce group accounts. For the PTA, this means combining its accounts with those of Nexus (a wholly-owned subsidiary company of the PTA) to produce accounts that set out the financial position of the whole organisation. Accounts will also continue to be produced separately for the PTA and Nexus.
