Metro, Ferry and Rail Fares
Further fares adjustments have been approved to take effect in April 2001.
Further fares adjustments have been approved to take effect in April 2001. These simplify the fares structure by reducing the number of zones and mean that many passengers will pay less to travel and in some cases pay no more than at present. A new 'WednesDaySaver' ticket is to be trialled on the Metro in June. Traveltickets now include all public transport services in Tyne and Wear including those to the MetroCentre.
